Students took photographs of a plethora of Torah attachments, crowns, signs, pointers, candelabras and other objects from The Schaudepot. The aim was to focus on different ways of looking at the objects to familiarise the students with their cultural history, since these pieves are from synagogues that were burned down and destroyed. Furthermore, this exercise was to reveal the social life of the objects from the districts in which they originated from. The next step for the girls was to be introduced to four objects from four districts
-a meil from 16th, Hubergasse 8
-a kiddush-cup from 15th, Turnergasse 22
-a pokal from 6th, Schmalzhofgasse 3
-a tora-crown from 18th, Schopenhauerstraße 39
and find out what now stands in those places, where the synagogues once were.
